Lyökkiniemi 22 B - Playing with Boxes - by Anu Puustinen and Ville Hara

Based on an architectural contest, Avanto Architects with Anu Puustinen and Ville Hara as architects, were chosen to Design this two house entity in Lyökkiniemi 22 B.
The duo is among others known for the Design of the Löyly building in Helsinki.

Careful consideration was used to preserve the original stone fences, rocks and pines on the plot. The placing of the buildings and the solution of overlapping parts, enabled a Matchbox type solution where the building techniques are many times used only for building public buildings. The entire interior has been Designed and built for this House on site, creating a multitude of architecturally functioning beautiful details.

Three to four bedrooms, a beautiful living room with a fireplace and dining space, and two sunny terraces and large kitchen, all open up for the highest quality of living.
